GCI hosts three events at Southern Oregon University (SOU) each year, with each event receiving approval from the GCI Executive Committee, Mark Runco for SOU Creativity, and through the standard selection process for the Southern Oregon University Creativity Conference. SOU is dedicated to supporting GCI, with Mark Runco serving on the GCI Advisory Board. Additionally, two more events planned for 2024 include the Global Café 2024 and the "Crisis Teacher Education" featuring Reisman, Keiser, and Runco, which aims to serve as a powerful wake-up call for creative teaching and learning.
