Welcome to 2025!

Dear GCI Community, as we step into 2025, we at the Global Creativity Initiative (GCI) would like to extend our warmest wishes for a happy and inspiring New Year! As we kick off 2025, we’re excited to share some highlights and upcoming events with you. 2024 was a landmark year for GCI, marking our first anniversary of issuing newsletters. Over the past year, GCI has grown significantly. We launched our LinkedIn page, started a podcast, and partnered with Malakta Art Factory in Finland to host an international creativity symposium last September, featuring many creativity scholars onsite in Malax and online on three continents.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Building on the momentum of 2024 we’re gearing up for the SOU Creativity Conference in Oregon this May and the KIE Conference in Portugal in July. Our board members will also attend the CREA Conference in Italy (April 2-6) and The Possibility Network in Ireland in early July.

As we strive to establish GCI as a hub for sharing noteworthy information in the creativity sector, we are pleased to share that the 4th Virtual Conference of the Possibility Studies Network will take place on January 20-21.
